The RHTC shall be accreditated to meet JCI standards. The RHTC is managed by Western Qualified Hospital Administrators and Managers. The senior Nursing and Medical positions are also held by western qualified and experienced and provide ongoing teaching and leadership development throughout the operational team.

Successfully commissioned and opened on schedule in June 2006 a purpose built 44 bed Orthopaedic Independent Sector Treatment Centre (ISTC), incorporating 4 Operating Theatres and comprehensive diagnostic and outpatient services. The Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Treatment Centre is being operated and managed by Interhealth Care Services (UK) Limited in a ground-breaking partnership with the UK Department of Health/National Health Service. The Centre will carry out approximately 5,000 elective orthopaedic operations each year over an initial period of five years.
